No. Our surf sessions are beginner-friendly and designed to build confidence safely. We work in the whitewash and gentle waves only, staying close to shore. Surfers are not taken past the break

• Women’s sessions: ages 12+

• Kids sessions: ages 6–11

• Toddler sessions: ages 2-5

• Private sessions: all ages (including families and teens)

Lessons generally run between Seal Rocks and Forster. The home base being Seal Rocks. Exact locations are confirmed closer to the session, based on conditions.

• Women’s group sessions: 2 hours

• Kids sessions: 60–90 minutes (age dependent)

• Private sessions: 90–120 minutes, depending on booking type

Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, water, and a sense of humour.

We supply softboards, wetsuits and sunscreen.

You can bring your board and wetsuit if that makes you more comfortable.

Safety comes first. If conditions aren’t right, sessions may be relocated, rescheduled, or credited. However, will will run our lesson rain or sunshine unless declared unsafe by officials.

Yes. All sessions are run by qualified, insured surf coaches with strong ocean awareness and small group sizes.

Yes. Parents are welcome to stay nearby during kids’ sessions.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the session. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the booking. If conditions are unsuitable, sessions may be relocated, rescheduled, or credited - safety always comes first.

We’ll text you the evening before your session with the exact meeting location. Spots are chosen based on wind, weather, and wave conditions to ensure the safest and most enjoyable session possible.
